Little Ghosts

A few months ago while I was browsing Pintrest I saw the cutest little canvas with ghosts made from children's footprints. I knew it was something that I had to do this year. I have done a few things with hand print in the past but never footprints. It was so simple to do just a pre-stretched canvas from the craft store along with white and black paint.

I really wish that I had done something like this last year while there feet were still tiny but I am sure that next year when I pull out the Halloween stuff I will look at this and think the foot prints are so little.

Fourth of July Craft

Recently I have started to change out some decor with seasons or holidays, and decided it was time to bring out the 4th of July stuff. I saw this cute idea over at eighteen25 for framed letters and decided to give it a try. They used wooden letters for theirs but I decided to use glitter card stock for mine.

I started with wooden 5x7 frames from Michael's and painted them white.

Then I found a font that I like on the computer and blew it up to a size that fit the frame then printed them and cut them out to use as a pattern. I traced the letters on the back side of the red glitter card stock (be sure to trace the letters backwards so it will be the correct direction when you cut the letters out),and cut them out.

I glued the letters to a printed background and then put them in the frames.

Happy Easter

We have been out of town spending the week at the beach. Had a great time spending time with the family photos to come soon. Today started off with easter baskets and who doesn't like candy for breakfast? The evening ended with an easter egg hunt with my nephew ( and some very melted candy filled eggs) and dinner! I love that we get to spend time together.
